Description
One of our absolute favorite playgrounds in South Tyrol! The forest playground in Trodena has everything kids (and parents!) could wish for: a large climbing slide, balance elements, a basket swing, hammocks, sand and water play areas, and so much more — all completely free!
The entire playground is themed around forest animals, with creatively designed equipment like spider webs, honeycombs, squirrel nests, and fox dens.
Spacious meadows invite you to picnic, run, and let off steam.
Right across the street, you’ll also find a fantastic Kneipp water therapy trail for all ages.
The entire area is stroller-friendly.
You can park in the paid parking lot next to the Sportbar in Trodena. Don’t get distracted by the small playground right by the parking lot — it’s nice too, but the real forest playground is just a short walk away. Simply follow the road up into the woods on the right, and after a few meters, you’ll spot the wooden fence of the forest playground on your right.
