Route description
Did you know that just 10 minutes in the forest can significantly lower stress levels and calm your nerves? This themed Forest & Senses Trail in Tirolo is designed to help you relax and sharpen your senses. Along the way, children can enjoy interactive play stations that add fun and variety to the walk.
A barefoot path, wooden deck chairs, herbal knowledge, messages hanging from trees, forest huts, a small playground, and plenty of fascinating forest facts await you. This trail invites you to experience the forest with all your senses and leave everyday stress behind — we truly recommend it!
Parking is available at the Tiroler Kreuz, next to the restaurant of the same name. From there, follow the signs for “Waldweg” (forest trail) to start the circular route. The right-hand path at the beginning is quite steep and not ideal for strollers. However, if you’re using a stroller, you can take the left-hand path and simply turn back halfway. Without a stroller, you can complete the full loop. The walk takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Afterwards, you can treat yourself to lunch or ice cream at the Gasthaus Tiroler Kreuz.
