Climbing gyms are a great option to let kids burn off some energy, especially when the weather isn’t great. If parents have experience with belaying and the kids are brave enough, they can try climbing with ropes. Alternatively, the bouldering areas are perfect, as kids can climb at a moderate height and safely jump onto soft mats. It’s important to explain the basic rules beforehand, so the kids don’t disturb other climbers and everyone can stay safe.
